Expedeon and Protein Technologies Join Forces to Provide

CAMBRIDGE, UNITED KINGDOM and MANCHESTER, UNITED KINGDOM (Dec 15, 2011) - Expedeon, Ltd. and Protein Technologies Ltd. today announced a collaborative agreement to provide NVoy based Custom Protein Stabilisation Services.
Expedeon is a leading provider of simple, rapid, and effective solutions for protein-based research and production. The company's patented products include industry-leading solutions for protein separation, quantitation, visualization, purification, protection and refolding. The company’s proprietary NVoy technology is used worldwide to enhance protein stability and solubility. Applications include soluble expression of aggregation prone protein such as membrane proteins, protein refolding, protein concentration and purification, crystallisation, NMR and mass spectrometry. Protein Technologies Ltd (PTL) is a provider of contract research services to the life sciences industries specializing in recombinant protein expression, protein engineering and purification, assay development and drug screening and the development of novel fluorescent proteins. PTL also has proprietary technology in enzyme immobilization and very large scale enzymatic reactions in continuous flow reactors. PTL operates from state-of-the-art development laboratories on the Manchester Science Park.
