Detergent compatible protein quantitation

The BradfordUltra kit is a quick and easy to use Coomassie-based, colorimetric method for total protein quantitation. With this kit you no longer need to worry about the presence of detergents in protein preparations as the kit can accurately quantitate protein with up to 1% detergent  present

BradfordUltra provides an improvement over classical Bradford formulations which cannot tolerate detergent contamination of protein samples. In addition, unlike BCA and UV methods this product tolerates reducing reagents and UV adsorbing chemicals.

BioCompare Review of BradfordUltra

A Researcher at the Commissariat à l'énergie atomique in France recently reviewed her experiences of using BradfordUltra on the Biocompare website and summarised that BradfordUltra is "a quick and easy reagent solution for protein quantification if you are using a detergent (at a moderate concentration) in your preparation. It ¡s extremely easy to use and the protocol is fast and reproducible. The absorbance is stable for at least 30 minutes, making the timing of the measurements not absolutely critical. There is a significantly lower protein to protein variability."
